Infinity GPS: Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 October 2026

1. Who we are

Infinity GPS is a vehicle tracking service run by the owner of Infinity GPS, in Bengaluru, India ("we", "us"). For anything about your data, use Settings › Send a problem report in the app.

2. What this policy covers

The Infinity GPS app (on phones and computers), its alerts, and the tracker devices we provide or connect.

3. Whose data this is about

which means where those people go.

If you fit a tracker to a vehicle that other people drive, you must tell them it is tracked, and for anyone under 18 have a parent's or guardian's consent (see section 9).

4. What we collect, and why

WhatExamplesWhy
The tracker's reportsposition, speed, direction, ignition on/off, whether it's on the vehicle's power, its battery, mobile signal, GPS satellites, alarmsTo show the vehicle live, its trips and events, and to send alerts
Vehicle details you entername, type, colour, registration number, speed limit, automatic guard timesTo show and alert for each vehicle as you set it
Your placesname, label (Home, Work, School, Temple, Hospital…), position, size, addressArrive/leave alerts
Your settingsmap style, sound, which alerts, how often they repeatSo your choices follow you to your other devices
Alert sign-upsyour device's push address and keys, which vehicles it alerts forTo send alerts when the app is closed
Alert historyguard mode on/off, arriving and leaving places, speeding, with timesTo show what happened in the app
Problem reports (only if you send one)your note, and the app's log on that device: what it received and did, including vehicle positions and times; never your sign-inTo investigate and fix problems
Your name and mobile numberthe name you or the admin enter, and a number for WhatsApp, SMS or callsSo the admin can recognise you and contact you about your access
Activity record (audit trail)what each sign-in did in the app and when: signed in or out, opened a vehicle or a day, played back a trip, turned guard mode on or off, changed a setting, added or removed a place, viewer or vehicle; and the kind of device (for example "iPhone, Safari"). Never positions, addresses, place names or internet addressesSo the admin can see who did what in the app, and to settle disputes
Approximate city (demos only)the city your internet connection appears to be inTo run demos near you; not stored

We do not collect your contacts, photos, or your phone's own location. The app shows the tracker's location, not the phone's.

Sensitive details: places and routines can reveal sensitive things about a person (for example where they live, their religion through a temple, or their health through a hospital). We use them only for the purposes above, never for advertising or profiling, and we never sell them.

5. The legal basis

We process this data with your consent, given when you sign up and when you fit a tracker or add a person, and to provide the service you asked for. You can withdraw consent at any time (section 8); the service then stops for the affected vehicles.
